Community Partnerships Program Application Form

The Community Partnerships Program is designed to support the volunteer efforts of community groups and contribute to community-led events, projects and activities that deliver social, economic, environmental and cultural benefits to the local community. 

The Community Partnership Program Policy and Procedure provides details about how requests for Council assistance are managed, including eligibility criteria and conditions of approval.

(a) Loan of equipment and other in-kind assistance

(Please indicate the number of equipment items requested and provide more detail where required)

Please indicate what date you will collect and return equipment items

(Note: Council doesn’t offer a delivery and collection service of equipment except in exceptional circumstance. All items must be collected and returned during business hours)

(b) Cash Donation

(Note: A Council Officer will contact you if further documents are required to support your application)

(c) Rate Rebates and Remissions and Water Consumption Donation

Please use Application for Remission for Not for Profit Organisations.

(d) Interest-free Loan

Please refer to the Community Loans Policy and contact the Community Services Team on 1300 308 461 to discuss this option with a Council Officer.

Community Benefit

Further Information for Event/Activity Organisers

  • If the event is to be held in a Council Park or Hall please complete a Park Hire or Hall Hire Application Form.

  • If the event will impact traffic conditions, MSC and DTMR Road Permits may be required.

  • A MSC Temporary Entertainment Event Permit may be required for public events with more than 100 attendees.

  • Community groups leasing Council facilities must complete an MSC NFP Infrastructure Project Proposal Form for approval prior to undertaking facility upgrades.
