Mareeba Shire Council is asking the community to submit their favourite recipe as part of the Shared Table cookbook, celebrating Local Government Association of Queensland’s 130th anniversary.

Mareeba Shire's agriculture industry grows some of the best produce in Australia. We are also home to 75 different cultural backgrounds, creating a diverse and colourful palette of flavours and dishes.

We want to hear from you! Do you have a family recipe passed down through the generations, does your restaurant have a signature dish, do you know a great home cook?

Please submit your recipe by Sunday, 14 June.

Once the recipes are recieved, the Councillors will vote for the winning recipe that will be featured in the Shared Table cookbook. The other recipes will be featured in an online cookbook on Mareeba Shire Council's website.
